KCC Egis (KBL) inked experienced 34-year old American power forward Brandon Brown (201-109kg-85, college: Cal State - San Bernardino).
It is actually Brown's comeback to Jeonju as he has played here before. He played in the summer at Chongqing in Chinese NBL league. In 17 games he recorded very impressive stats: 32.6ppg, 15.6rpg, 6.9apg and 2.5spg. He was also selected League Player of the Week (3 times). The last season Brown played at KCC Egis where in 62 KBL games he averaged remarkable 25.6ppg, 13.1rpg, 4.0apg and 1.9spg. Good season as he was also here selected League Player of the Week (6 times). He received also Asia-Basket.com All-Korean KBL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2018 and 2019.
Brown won Mexican CIBACOPA championship title in 2011.
Brown is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to fifteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Brown has played previously professionally in Argentina (Lanus), Cyprus (Apollon), France (Sluc Nancy and Denain Voltaire), Greece (Aiolos Trikallon), Iceland, Israel (GreenTops Netanya), Korea (ET Land Elephants), Lithuania, Philippines (Phoenix), Poland (Anwil), Portugal, Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli Jeddah), Turkey (Istanbulspor), Uruguay and Ecuador (Mavort).
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He attended Cal State - San Bernardino until 2009 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Brown's game is described as: Complete Power Forward. He has a big body, bigger then his height might tell you. An extreme athlete who jumps out of the gym, for thunderous dunks, highflying dunks and gets up very high on rebounds
The good things about his games is that he is very athletic, he can rebound, offensive rebound put backs, running the floor hard in transition, can catch alley hoops, playing hard, and blocking shotsBrandon earned all-California Collegiate Athlete Association first-team honors and was voted the CCAA ''Newcomer of the year'' by the conference coaches. He was NABC all-West Region first team and Daktronics all-West Region first team and voted to the CCAA all-tournament team as the tournament MVP. He was selected as the CCAA player of the week four times out of ten. Brandon was also athlete of the year at Cal State San Bernardino.
